We have printed Christmas cards with the beautiful painting of our church that Chrissanth did for the parish card last Christmas. Packages of 15 cards for $7 are available in the hall.
Penny Social
The Penny Social will take place on Saturday, January 25. Kristen Szymanowicz will be chairing the Penny Social and she’d like a few more people to volunteer to help. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, please talk to her at coffee hour or contact her at [email protected]. Please continue to save new and gently used items that can be used for the penny prizes.
Parish Christmas Card
Chrissanth, with the help of our children, has created a beautiful Christmas card from our parish which will be sent to Bishop Gregory and all the friends of our parish.
If you would like to have your name on the card, please see Julia Huott or Maddy Sulich at coffee hour. A $20 donation is requested per family.
Thanksgiving Bake Sale Help Wanted!
Our Thanksgiving Bake and Craft Sale will take place next Saturday, November 23rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our holiday bake sales are
among our biggest fundraisers and we need everyone’s help to make it a success.
Set up and cookie packaging will take place on Friday afternoon and evening. Saturday we will need shifts of helpers from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help cooking and serving lunch in the kitchen, filling orders, and manning the parish sale table. Please give a few hours of your time if you can.
There is a sign up sheet in the hall. Let us know when you are available to help so we can make sure all time slots and tasks are covered.

Clothing Drive
Our clothing drive is going on until December 14th. Please put all clothing, linens, shoes, etc. that you wish to donate in garbage bags and bring to the church. If you have any questions about what can be donated, see Ann Huott. Your cast offs can earn money for the church!
Santa’s Helpers for Project Mexico
We have decided to do the Christmas shopping for one of the boys who lives at the orphanage at Project Mexico. Our boy is Ivan. The orphanage has sent a specific list of items that Ivan needs. The list is posted in the hall.
If you would like to purchase one item from list, please put your name next to the item you wish to get. All items need to be brought to the church, not wrapped, by November 30th. If you have any questions, see Susan Sulich.

Don’t forget to stop by for our Thanksgiving Bake and Craft Sale set for Saturday, November 22 from 10am-3pm and Sunday, November 23 after liturgy-2pm.
We have been cooking and baking up a lot of delicious foods for you to purchase for your holiday. We also have crafters lined up for some holiday shopping and will have the kitchen open for a nice hot perogi lunch so make sure to join us!

Lenox Retreat 2014
Thank you to Fr. and Pani Stagon for leading our St. Nectarios Retreat this year in Lenox, Ma.
Perogi Dash 2014 Proceeds
This week we will be presenting Healing Hearts with $850 from the road race, plus $984 that was raised by teams and from day of the race donations to Healing Hearts for a total of $1834.00.
