Our Youth

Parish Family outing at local Dairy Farm

On Saturday, June 29 Holy Trinity had a Parish Family outing to Brookby Farm. Over twenty youth and adults came out to see a working dairy farm. They had time for a short walk to see a waterfall and visit the small shop with some delectable from the farm shop which included raw milk that was produced by the cows on the farm.

The kids also had time to play together while the adults were able to talk and build closer bonds with each other.

When it was time to see the cows, the farmer gave a short presentation on how to behave in the barn so as not to spook the cows.

Then he took the group into the barn and demonstrated how he milks the cows.

Everyone had an enjoyable time.
