Reminder: Please Bring your Gifts for Ivan Tomorrow

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.

We would like to remind people to bring their unwrapped Christmas items for Ivan our St. Innocent orphan to church this Sunday. Please contact Susan Sulich with any last minute questions on this project.

Also don’t forget to bring your give away bags of clothing to church tomorrow for the clothing drive.

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone

“When you sit down to eat, pray. When you eat bread, do so thanking Him for being so generous to you. If you drink wine, be mindful of Him who has given it to you for your pleasure and as a relief in sickness. When you dress, thank Him for His kindness in providing you with clothes. When you look at the sky and the beauty of the stars, throw yourself at God’s feet and adore Him who in His wisdom has arranged things in this way. Similarly, when the sun goes down and when it rises, when you are asleep or awake, give thanks to God, who created and arranged all things for your benefit, to have you know, love and praise their Creator.”

– St. Basil the Great

Calling all Bakers, Perogie Pinchers, and Cabbage Rollers!!

Due to the great success of our Thanksgiving Bake Sale we are out or very low on some of our most popular items. We are having emergency sessions to get our stock back up for the upcoming Christmas sale on December 13th.

We will be having Perogie/baking/cooking sessions on Tuesday, December 2nd and Tuesday, December 9th. We may also need to have an evening session. Please come to help if at all possible.

We will also be having a Nutroll baking session on Saturday, December 6th.  Even just an hour of your time helps!

Parish Christmas Card

Chrissanth, with the help of our children, has created a beautiful Christmas card from our parish which will be sent to Bishop Gregory and all the friends of our parish.

If you would like to have your name on the card, please see Julia Huott or Maddy Sulich at coffee hour. A $20 donation is requested per family.

Thanksgiving Bake Sale Help Wanted!

Our Thanksgiving Bake and Craft Sale will take place next Saturday, November 23rd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our holiday bake sales are
among our biggest fundraisers and we need everyone’s help to make it a success.

Set up and cookie packaging will take place on Friday afternoon and evening. Saturday we will need shifts of helpers from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. to help cooking and serving lunch in the kitchen, filling orders, and manning the parish sale table. Please give a few hours of your time if you can.

There is a sign up sheet in the hall. Let us know when you are available to help so we can make sure all time slots and tasks are covered.

Welcome to Holy Trinity Orthodox Church

Holy Trinity is a diverse and welcoming parish of the Carpatho Russian Diocese, under the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

His Grace, Bishop Gregory of Nyssa, is our diocesan ruling hierarch.

Divine Liturgy is offered Sunday at 10 am. As a reminder, only those Orthodox Christians who are properly prepared are invited to receive Holy Communion.

Everyone is invited downstairs following Divine Liturgy for Coffee Hour and Fellowship. Come down and meet Fr. Luke and the parishioners.

Our parish offers many opportunities to pray, to study and learn more about Jesus Christ and His Holy Orthodox Church.

If you have any questions about the Orthodox Church, our Faith, or our parish please feel free to contact Fr. Luke. He is more than happy to meet with you and talk.
